Intuition has become one of my most trusted guides, not just in life, but especially in business. It’s no longer something I try to access on occasion. It’s integrated into how I make decisions, how I plan, and how I navigate the unknown.
In this piece, I want to explore how intuition shows up as a quiet superpower, how to recognise its signals, and how to begin trusting it to guide your path, especially when logic doesn’t have all the answers.

The Quiet Power of Intuition
Intuition is that gentle knowing that comes from within. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t push. It’s the opposite of the logical mind that often yells for your attention. Intuition is the inner compass that nudges you toward alignment, without needing proof.
Maybe you’ve felt it before. You suddenly change direction, choose one idea over another, or feel a quiet unease around a decision that looked perfect on paper. That’s your intuition speaking. It’s your soul whispering, “This is your path.”
And in business, that whisper is invaluable. We can’t predict every shift. Markets evolve. Trends change. Uncertainty is part of the process. But when you listen to your intuition, you stay connected to the truth of what’s right for you, regardless of what the outside world says.
Strengthen Your Intuitive Connection
You don’t have to wait for intuition to strike. You can actively strengthen your relationship with it, just like any muscle.
Some practices that help include:
- Journaling: Not every day, unless that works for you. Ask your intuition a question and free-write the response. “What does my business need today?” or “What choice feels most aligned right now?” Let the answers flow without overthinking.
- Stillness: That five-minute moment in the shower or during a walk might be all it takes for intuitive insights to come through. Stillness isn’t about doing nothing, it’s about being present enough to hear what’s already there.
- Box breathing: Inhale for four, hold for four, exhale for four, hold for four. Let your system settle. Let your nervous system know you’re safe. From that place, intuition speaks clearly.
You don’t need rituals that feel like a performance. You just need to be with yourself. That’s where the wisdom is.
Learn to Read the Signals
Your intuition sends signals all the time, but they’re subtle. That sense of unease before entering a partnership. The spark of excitement when brainstorming an offer. The quiet pause that asks you to wait before acting.
You can begin to document these signals. Keep a notebook. Write down what you felt, what showed up, and how it turned out. Over time, patterns will emerge. You’ll begin to trust the nudges, because you’ll see how often they’ve guided you well.
And if you notice something, a bird crossing your path, a symbol that repeats, a thought that lands out of nowhere, write that too. You are learning your own intuitive language. That’s sacred.
Trust Is the Hardest Part
We’ve been taught to look outward for answers. To ask the coach, follow the trend, consult the expert. And yes, support is beautiful. But no one knows your business like you do. No one is inside your energy but you.
That’s why trust is so powerful. It’s what lets you follow your intuition even when it doesn’t make logical sense. Even when your coach says something else. Even when no one else sees the vision.
You’re not meant to explain your intuitive nudges to others. They’re not always going to get it. That’s okay. What matters is that you trust them enough to act on them.
Intuition in Action: Clients, Offers, and Alignment
Your intuition isn’t just a guide for personal life. It plays a crucial role in how you run your business.
- Client alignment: When you’re on a call with a potential client, your body knows. Tune in. Do you feel energised? Heavy? Excited? Off? Trust what you feel. The right clients light you up. The wrong ones drain you. That clarity prevents burnout.
- Offer creation: You’ve probably been told to ask your ideal clients what they want before you create. But I’ve found that my most successful offers come from what I want, what lights me up. When I create from alignment, those offers take off. When I create for others, they often fall flat.
- Decision-making: Before launching anything, check in. Ask, “Does this feel like it keeps me on my path?” Your body will tell you. Ease often signals alignment. Dread or tension? That might mean it’s time to reassess.
The people who are meant for you will feel the energy behind your offers when they’re created from truth.
Logic Has Its Place. But It’s Not Everything
I love my logic. I love my left brain. I use it every day, for planning, structure, and follow-through. But it doesn’t have the final say.
Intuition leads. Logic supports.
You don’t need to choose one over the other. You need both. The magic is in the harmony. Let logic gather the information, but let your intuition decide what to do with it.
Final Reflections
Your intuition is always speaking to you. It’s a relationship, not a resource you access only when desperate. And the more you lean into it, the more confident you become, not because you have all the answers, but because you trust that you’ll always be guided.
You already have the compass inside you. You just need to listen. Breathe. Ask. And act.
