Think about the type of energy you want between you and your business. Do you want it to feel like a partnership? A deep friendship? Something nurturing, like a parent and child, or something steady and collaborative, like co-founders? There’s no right or wrong, just what feels aligned.
You might value things like respect, support, creativity, or freedom. You might want your business to feel like a safe space. When you define this clearly, you’re no longer guessing how to show up, you’re co-creating something intentional and alive.
Past Relationships Hold Clues
It helps to reflect on your past relationships, not just romantic ones, but friendships, mentorships, even your relationship with work. Which ones felt expansive? Which ones felt draining? Use those memories to understand how you want to relate to your business now.
If there were relationships where you felt unseen or unsupported, what boundaries did you need that weren’t present? If you felt energised and empowered in others, what dynamics were at play?
This kind of reflection helps you choose consciously what you’re bringing forward into your relationship with your business. You get to create something that feels aligned.

The Earth Connection Chakra is nestled at the core of Mother Earth. It’s warm, nurturing, and deeply grounding. It’s also the energetic place where your business was birthed. Whether it was the moment you got your first idea, claimed your business name, or launched your first offer, that moment lives here.
When you feel unsteady or disconnected, return to that memory. Let yourself feel the emotion of that beginning. What did it feel like? What were you hoping for? What energy moved through you?
Let that feeling root you. Let it remind you of why you began. The Earth Connection Chakra brings you back to that steadiness, to the knowing that you are held.
Identity and the Energy of “I Am”
Your business carries its own identity. Just like we speak “I am” statements over ourselves, we can begin to speak them over our business.

Many of us have tied our worth and safety to a single identity. And when that identity shifts or is taken away, it can leave us lost.
For me, that identity was in the medical field. I lived and breathed that world. I trained, I volunteered, I worked across every corner of it. And when that chapter ended, I didn’t know who I was.
That experience taught me that it’s essential to have more than one identity. When we hold multiple truths about ourselves, we stay anchored even when things change.
Let your business reflect this, too. It doesn’t have to be just one thing. Just like you, it can hold multitudes.
A Relationship That Includes Peace
There’s a deep peace in being with someone where you don’t have to fill the space with words. A relationship that allows you to simply sit in silence and still feel connected. That’s the kind of relationship I’ve cultivated with my business.
Yes, I speak to it. Yes, I ask for guidance. But there are also days where I just sit with it quietly. There’s no push to do or create. Just presence. And that, too, is part of the relationship.
You don’t need to be in constant contact. You can take space. You can rest. And your business will still be there when you return, steady, present, and ready to move when you are.
