Visibility begins in the body. It begins in presence. Before you ever go live, post content, or hit record, before you share anything at all, there’s a moment when your body either says yes or no. And that moment is shaped by how grounded you are. That’s why the Earth Connection Chakra is the very first energy to return to when you’re working with visibility.

This chakra lives deep in the core of Mother Earth. It’s not the same as the Root Base or the Earth Star Chakras, it’s something more foundational. It’s where you go when you want to feel safe, supported, and energetically held. And it’s the chakra I return to again and again whenever I’m about to launch, show up, or create from visibility.

Grounding First, Always

We often hear that the root chakra is the grounding centre. But there’s a deeper layer, an even earlier anchoring point. That’s the Earth Connection Chakra. Think about trees and how their roots stretch far beneath the surface. They don’t just sit lightly in the soil. They dig in. They spread deep. They hold steady.  That’s what this chakra gives you.

When you’re fully grounded:

  • You’re able to create content, record videos, and post from a place of calm.
  • Your nervous system is settled, not scattered.
  • You can show up without overriding your own needs or abandoning your body.

This chakra helps you access energy without tipping into overstimulation. It gives you just enough, not too much, not too little. And it becomes your anchor for sustainable visibility.

Visibility Becomes Desire, Not Obligation

When you’re grounded in the Earth Connection Chakra, visibility shifts from “I should” to “I want to.” That happens because of connection. Connection to your tribe, your community, and your sense of belonging.

When you connect to your tribe energetically, you actually want to show up. You want to share. You feel the pull of something bigger than yourself. Visibility becomes an act of love, of offering. Not performance or pressure.

This is the space where your sense of humanity lives. That could be the broader collective. Or it could be your intimate community. It could be a single person watching your stories. Releasing the Negative Thoughts That Arise

One of the biggest things this chakra helps with is releasing the inner noise that tends to show up around visibility. The thoughts about how you look, what you’re wearing, whether it’s professional enough.

I’ve heard it all: “You should dress up.” “You should wear makeup.” And for a while, I listened. I polished myself up. I put on an identity that didn’t quite feel like me. But I wasn’t fully expressed. I wasn’t grounded. My passion didn’t shine through in the same way.

Now, I show up more naturally, sometimes casual, sometimes emotional. Sometimes dressed up, sometimes not. Because I’ve learnt this. When I’m in my energy, when I’m connected, that’s when my visibility has the most impact. That’s when people feel me. That’s when I’m fully present.

You Get to Show Up As You

There’s no one right way to be visible. You get to show up as you. If dressing up makes you feel beautiful and aligned, then do it. But if casual makes you feel more yourself, that’s okay too. There’s no performance required here. There’s only the truth.

When you’re connected to your Earth Connection Chakra, you realise that your people, your true tribe, aren’t here for perfection. They’re here for you. They resonate with your energy, your truth, and your way of showing up. If someone is distracted by a background noise, or by whether you’re wearing makeup, they’re not your people.

This chakra helps you trust that. It helps you return to your truth, your presence, and your grounded visibility.

Releasing Excess Energy

Sometimes what keeps us from showing up isn’t a lack of energy—it’s too much. When we’re nervous, excited, or emotionally charged, our energy builds and has nowhere to go. That’s where this chakra is so powerful. It offers a space to release what’s too much.

Nature is one of the most beautiful tools for this:

  • Walk barefoot on the grass.
  • Submerge your feet in water.
  • Go for a gentle bush walk.
  • Let your body reconnect with the natural world.

There’s science behind it, negative ions, grounding currents, but more than that, there’s a spiritual and emotional clearing that happens when you return to the earth. You let go of what’s not yours. You recalibrate. You find the energy that’s just right for you.

Peace, Protection, and Presence

When you energetically visit this chakra, when you drop into the core of Mother Earth, it can feel like a cocoon. It’s soft. Protective. Deeply peaceful. This is not a place of retreat or hiding. It’s a place of preparation. You go here to anchor. To restore. To fill up so that when you emerge, you’re not scattered or depleted, you’re strong.

It’s not about having a professional studio or perfect lighting. It’s about having peace. Peace that allows you to show up in your truth, even when you’re emotional. Even when you’re releasing for yourself or for your tribe. Because sometimes visibility means crying on camera. Sometimes it means letting energy move through you because you’re connected enough to feel what needs to be released.

This chakra holds that space. And it reminds you: being visible doesn’t mean being polished. It means being present.
