So often we’re taught that creativity belongs to artists. That it’s painting, music, and writing. But creativity in business is so much more. It’s how you solve problems. How you communicate. How you adapt to challenges and design offers that are deeply aligned with your energy and your audience.
If you create your own graphics, that’s creativity. If you write your own posts, even with help from AI, that’s still creative energy being shaped by you. Creativity is seeing a challenge from a new angle. It’s creating something that speaks directly to your clients because it first spoke to you.
I always say, create for yourself first. That’s how you magnetise your ideal people. When your offers are grounded in your energy and joy, the right clients feel it.

Creativity and the Sacral Chakra
Energetically, creativity is traditionally linked to the Sacral Chakra. That’s the space of flow, sensuality, expression. But for many of the people I work with, creativity can show up elsewhere too. We each have our own energetic blueprint.
When the Sacral Chakra is flowing well, you feel inspired. Ideas come through clearly. You’re in sync with your intuition. But when it’s sluggish, you may feel stuck. Disconnected. Like you can’t quite reach that spark.
This isn’t about “unblocking.” It’s about nurturing. The more you create, the more ideas come. And when that energy flows, everything else follows, products, services, offers that align fully with who you are.
Creativity Is What Keeps You Moving
Business is not a straight line. Despite what some people try to sell you, “Follow this system, make 20k in a week”, you know better. Business has seasons. Waves. And creativity is what helps you ride those waves with more ease.
It’s what keeps you adaptable, relevant, and in love with your work. Without it, burnout creeps in. I’ve been there. When I stop creating and start just ticking off tasks, everything starts to feel heavy. But when I return to creativity, to joy, to play, I feel alive again.
That’s why creativity is essential. It’s not a luxury. It’s a foundation.
What Might Be Blocking Your Creative Flow?
Sometimes, the reason creativity dries up isn’t because it’s gone. It’s because something’s in the way. So take a pause and ask, what’s holding it back?
You might notice:
- Perfectionism: You keep tweaking that graphic or post and never feel like it’s ready.
- Fear of judgment: You’re scared someone will criticise what you’ve made, so you hold it back.
- Busyness: You’re moving so fast that your ideas don’t even have space to land.
Awareness is the first step. When you name what’s in the way, it starts to loosen. And that’s when flow returns.
Reignite Creativity with Fun and Play
As adults, we often forget to play. But play is where creativity lives. It’s where laughter, spontaneity, and surprise live too. That’s why fun is not frivolous, it’s essential.
You might:
- Doodle, dance, or try something new just for the joy of it.
- Have a brainstorming session with a biz bestie to unlock fresh ideas.
- Pick up a creative hobby, crocheting, painting, diamond art, whatever sparks something in you.
Often, it’s stepping away from work that sparks the best business ideas. Because play shifts your frequency. It brings you back to the present. And that’s where inspiration lives.
Build a Daily Creativity Habit
Creativity thrives with consistency. And like anything else, it deepens the more you practise.
Start small. Just five minutes a day:
- Journaling or writing without a plan
- Sketching out ideas for your next offer
- Daydreaming with intention, giving your brain space to imagine without structure
It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to happen. Take the action. That’s what matters.
Channeling Creativity Into Business Success
When you create from your essence, your brand becomes unmistakably yours. Whether it’s through visuals, tone, or humour, your energy shines through. And people feel that.
Let yourself experiment. Play with messaging. Try new formats. Create offers that delight, not just convert. That’s the kind of authenticity that clients remember.
Creativity also supports how you connect with people, your onboarding process, the way you deliver group programs, the little touches that make someone feel seen. Those are not extras. They’re part of what builds a magnetic business.
Let Creativity Align Your Vision and Mission
Your creativity can be the bridge between where you are now and where you want to be. Between your mission and your vision.
So write it down. What is your mission? What is your vision? Then dream into it. Let your creative energy shape the steps forward.
Because when you lead with creativity, you lead with life. Your business grows in a way that’s sustainable, spacious, and joy-filled. And that’s what we’re here for.
