Your business is energy. It’s not just a structure or a service. It’s a living, breathing extension of you. You’ve given birth to it, which means it holds its own vibration, its own wisdom. And like any energy you’re in relationship with, it responds when you connect with it regularly.
Talking to your business daily isn’t a lofty concept. It’s a practical, intuitive practice that helps you get clear on what’s truly aligned. Because even with great advice, from coaches, mentors, or peers, if you’re not connected to your body and your business’s energy, it becomes difficult to discern whether that advice is truly right for you.
I learned this the hard way. That’s why I speak about it now, because trusting yourself in business is not just helpful, it’s essential.

What It Looks Like to Talk to Your Business
This doesn’t need to be a formal ritual. Sometimes I sit in front of the camera and imagine my business sitting across from me, like a person. I speak to it aloud. Other times, I journal. I ask questions like:
- What do you need from me today?
- How are you feeling right now?
- Is this new idea or offer right for us?
- What action would support us both today?
You can also speak to your business energetically in meditation. Sit quietly. Tune in. Let your business’s energy rise and speak to you in its own way. Over time, the messages come faster. Clearer. Your intuition gets stronger, because you’ve made space to listen.
Why Daily Connection Changes Everything
When you connect with your business consistently, you become more sensitive to what’s aligned and what’s not. You begin to recognise the difference between fear and truth. And when advice comes in, from anyone, you can feel instantly whether it resonates.
You are the expert on your business. Yes, others may hold knowledge in their fields. But your energy is unique. Your business is unique. Only you can know what’s fully right. And the more often you connect with that inner knowing, the easier it becomes to honour it.
Even small actions help. For example, if I wake up and reach for social media too quickly, I’ll apologise to my business. Because we both need rest. And when I close for the day, I thank my business. We’re in a relationship. And that relationship deserves reverence.
Making It a Consistent Practice
To really integrate this, consider scheduling time in your calendar to connect with your business. Just like you would schedule content creation or client calls, give space to the relationship that holds all of it together.
- Create a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted, even if it’s just for a few minutes.
- Ask a single question and let the response flow, through writing, voice, or stillness.
- If something in your body feels off, ask your business what’s happening. Often, the message comes through your body before your mind.
- When you’re unsure about a service, an offer, or a mentor, check in first. Is this coming from love or from fear?
The more you make this part of your day, the more natural it becomes. It won’t feel like a task—it will feel like coming home.
Final Reflections
Think of your business like a person. One with wisdom. With needs. With energy that shifts and evolves. The more you talk to it, the more it will talk back. And that guidance? It’s already inside you. You’re just learning to listen more deeply.
Let this be a sacred relationship. One that supports you not just in making decisions, but in holding the energy of your work with care, courage, and truth.
